He was born Kevin Lamont Buck in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He has been singing since the tender age of 5 (five) beginning in the church youth choir. He Moved to San Diego and joined the Reformation Church Inc. He serves as a Deacon and praise and worship leader. Growing up in the church had been a struggle for Kevin in the past. After several brushes with the law and suffering the tormented life that comes with rebellion and resistance, Kevin realized his calling, surrendered and submerged himself in living and spreading the gospel message that changed his life.
Kevin has a style that is warm and uplifting. Not only does he have a powerful and wide vocal range, he has the ability to present a smooth and flowing vocal appeal that defines each vocal dynamic with the ease of a great tenor. His debut CD: Convicted (©2012 Noloc Records), is a testament of what he has learned from his life on both sides.
